These mindful group classes build mobility, strength, and balance paired with breath, intention, and community!

PLEASE ARRIVE 5-10 minutes before class time in order to gather your weights and start on time.
Please bring a yoga mat.

WHO:
* Appropriate for those who do not have a current injury or acute pain.

> If you have a current injury or acute pain, a group class is not appropriate. You should work individually with a medical or allied health provider.

* Appropriate for those who can get up/down from the floor relatively easily.

> If you cannot get up/down from the floor, both the Kittery Community Center and York Parks and Rec Dept. offer classes where chairs are used as props.
> Working individually with a physical or occupational therapist or personal trainer is also recommended to build your strength and mobility.

WHAT:

* Classes are STRENGTH-FOCUSED, following the current evidence-based science to progressively develop strength using body weight, resistance bands and dumbbells.

* Classes are designed to be Osteopenia / Osteoporosis safe and effective via my training in Bone Fit™ via the Osteoporosis Foundation.

* Individualized instruction is provided throughout every class. You will learn to use safe body mechanics for all of the exercises taught and you will gradually progress your load as your strength increases.

* Maximum of 14 students.
